Spring?

     The Spring-like weather outside teased us enough that we spent a majority of the morning outdoors. Dawson lead us through our usual morning meeting and soon thereafter we were off to Spanish. Later this morning, we met up with Ruth Ann and Kim's classes outside and listened to Ruth Ann read us the story of The Other Side by  Jacqueline Woodson. This is a beautiful story about friendship.  We then buddied up with our big buddies from Betsy's class in search for the perfect rock. What did we do with them? Why we decorated them, of course! We made pet rocks. They're drying and will come home with the children next week.
     All of the early learners and elementary classes ate lunch outside today and played for a little bit afterwards.
