This morning, Tallulah lead us through morning meeting before we began a literacy unit involving Valentine's Day. Speaking of Valentine's Day, thanks to those of you who've sent in your child's completed Valentines. They're looking great! :) We're gearing up and preparing for our party with our buddies on Friday, and our Valentine exchange on Monday.
Later this morning, the children had Early Learner music class with Kim and we came back to the room to play a literacy name. We played "I have, ____ who has ____"? The blanks are filled in with random names of children in the class, and continues in a pattern until all children have been called and spoken. They did great for the first time. We'll continue to play this game, filling in the blanks with colors, numbers, shapes, etc.
